Spring Adventure
It was the simplist things that seemed to put a smile on my 11 year old's face when she was younger.
We'd see expensive plays, go to movies, hit the fancy museums. But the most connected I ever felt was when we would pack up a bag of books on a pretty Spring day and march our way through Hatcher Garden in Spartanburg.
It's a beautiful flower garden set in the woods that features small ponds, wooden bridges, a stone outdoor amphitheater (perfect forthe ham in your family) and wonderful pathways through the woods that for little feet and legs make it seem like the adventure of a life time.
There was nothing better than taking our time exploring and then finding the perfect spot to read our bag of books. The smiles, the hugs, the one on one time was just precious. There were quality time moments put in here, that will certainly last a lifetime. Special memories I play to re-create with my 4 year old this Spring.
